They protect from being poked by sticks and twigs when hiking/argo-ing/4wheeling. Fits true to size. I've also worn them hunting with one layer underneath, keeps warm. Will a size 2 be small enough for women’s waist measurement 24in? Usually a xs/s or 0
A size 2 would be for a 26" waist, but there is a chance they could still work for you as we do have an athletic fit on our gear
