"I always wear Gila for hot weather. Decided to try the Tiburon hoodie since the Tiburon pants are by far my favorite KUIU pant. Very impressed with this hoodie. Breathability is very good and keeps you cool. The next to skin feel is soft and not abrasive. The hood is better than the Gila hood because when fully zipped it doesn’t blow off your head (with hat on) when facing wind."

"The jacket is nice and lightweight, and it works well in warm temperatures. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the fabric. The very first time I wore it, I brushed against a plant and the fabric immediately started to fray. I expected better durability for the price."

KUIU, Please Keep These in Stock!

"I’ve been really impressed with the Tiburon Hybrid Hoodie. It’s lightweight, incredibly breathable, and perfect for hot summer days. The fit is great, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite outdoor hoodies. My only complaint is that KUIU always seems to be out of stock. I would’ve loved to buy another one in a different color, but the non-camo options are almost always unavailable. I also wish they offered more solid color choices."

Nice shirt

"Nice shirt. Cut well. I'm 6', 202 lbs, muscular build. It fits great. That being said, it is a polyester shirt that is made in China. It's the same as Huk, PFG, Pelagic, or even a poly fishing shirt from Wally World. Hard to tell a difference Maybe it's more breathable? Regardless, the price is STEEP for what it is."

Awesome shirt

"Got this to compare to the gila. Only wore it out once so far to go put up cameras in 90 degree temps. I like it a lot I think it runs a little cooler than the gila but I dont believe it will be as durable but time will tell. Aweaome when a breeze picks up as the airflow is a relief. Going to run it some this archery season in colorado until temps start to cool off then I will go back to my merino t shirt."

Great piece

"Great sun hoody. I live in the southeast where its hot and humid, tested this piece when it came in by mowing the yard in peak heat. Keeps the sun off great, feels like you aren't wearing anything, of coarse it was soaked with sweat but dried off while wearing it within an hour. Its going to be a great layer for anything done in the heat and sun. To be honest ill probably wear it to the stand in early to mid whitetail season."

"Great shirt keeps you cool in 90 degree antelope hunting and the hood keeps the sun off your neck. Highly recommend! Buy a size larger for hot weather so not clinging to skin IMO"

"Zipper part can be shorter. . if you zip it all the way, it rubs on my chin a lot. . if you zip it right at the lower neck, it flaps to the sides and is annoying"

"Very light weight, XL typically fit me, this is a bit oversized/loose fitting/hoodie, long in the sleeves (I may have altered shorter), perfect length/waistline, yet I feel a Large would be too short in the body & tight around the wrist cuff. I can use it comfortably at 5'10 - 200 but curious what a Large would fit like."
