Made for Alaska’s Far North

"Just got back from a week of caribou hunting on the North Slope. Fogged in hill tops & rain for 3 & a 1/2 of those days with 20-25 mph winds & temps in the low to upper 30’s. Stayed dry, warm, & was completely comfortably with no base layers. Well worth the money!!!"

Waterproof not so much

"Used them the first week i got them. Great feeling pants there very comfortable but when it rained about half the day I got wet!!! My outside of my knees got wet and my ass got wet. Not a good feeling when it said they where waterproof. . . ."

great pant

"Great Pant. i looked for a insulated, water and windproof pant with stretch material, so it does not hinder the comfort for long sits or stalks. First, i wasnt sure about the noise the material produces. There is a noise, its not a silent pant. But if you choose to wear this pant, the noise the pants generates while walking will be covered by the noise of wind and rain. Your not going to do stalkes in it in a complete windstill and low noise environment. I only wore it once and it was great. Lots of rain, still it kept me like i was sitting in my livingroom. Great stuff. One downside: For me and my body, all the Kuiu inseam lenghts are too long. in the sizes i need you can only choose one, if there is an option to choose at all. On the normal Attack,Guide Pro and other "normal" pants thats a thing a taylor can fix. But on this kind of pants with the zippers, tightning pulls and everything at the end of the inseam, there is no chance for that."

"Love the color for winter hunting. Just wish you would make the Gala Force jacket available in VIAS, sixe XL. Want to use it this November thru Jan for hunting."

Fit true to size. Great

"Fit true to size. Great on having a selection of more than two inseams lengths. Looking forward to wearing them and giving them a true test this fall and winter"

Awesome pants for cold weather

"These gale force pants are incredible. Went out with a windchill of -7 and I couldn’t tell. All of my KUIU gear has just been incredible. I’m not a hunter, I’m a wildlife photographer and KUIU is the gear I wear year round."

Ron S. (5/5)

Best pant ever

"I'm gonna die hard believer. In this product, I have fully committed to the KUIU brand. i take this pant hunting and also snowboarding after trying many other brands. This will be the only one the remainder of my life."

Kutana Gale Force Pant and Jacket

"I use both the Kutana Gale Force Jacket and Pant to hunt coyote up here in Canada in -15C(5F) temperature in windy conditions and I have to admit they keep me warm (with the proper under layers eg Encounter 200 Fleece up to -10C, add Axis Pants and Peloton 240 jacket below). I snowmobile to my spot and stand for 20-30 minutes each and so far, I've been impressed. No bulk, and very comfortable. I had to upsize the pants from XL to 2XL as they seem to fit tighter than other Kuiu pants."

Mario B. (5/5)

Great material. Great insulation. Removable

"Great material. Great insulation. Removable bib cuff zipper constantly wants to unzip. Buckle feels cheap. 6’ 210Lb 36 waist. Size guide says L. I wear the XL jacket. But got the Large. Fits weird. Feels tight layered over other pants. Loose in the waist. Loose with out the bib cuff/suspenders These would be awesome if they were a true bib."
